Dr. Leslie S. Foster, of National Spine & Pain Centers’ Cumberland, Maryland center, has extensive knowledge of interventional pain management and rehabilitative medicine. During the course of his long and illustrious military medical career, Dr. Foster served as the chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitative Services at Walter Reed and was also an assistant professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Dr. Foster earned his Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC . He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain medicine. He has also trained in medical acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation.
His clinical expertise encompasses a variety of diagnostic specialties and treatments, including: Discography, Facet Joint Injections, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP Therapy), Prolotherapy, SI Joint Injection, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Trigger Point Injections.
