Dr. Kipp earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and went on to pursue her internship and residency in anesthesiology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA, where she also completed her fellowship in pain management.
“My work as an anesthesiologist has given me a greater understanding of the acute and chronic implications of pain. That experience, combined with my background in pain management, has led me to believe that treating patients in pain requires a sensitivity toward not only alleviating immediate pain but also developing a plan for managing it going forward so that they can resume a sense of normalcy in their day-to-day living.” ~ Dr. Amy Kipp
Dr. Kipp has extensive experience in interventional treatments, including epidural nerve block, selected nerve root injections, trigger point injections, facet joint injections, SI joint injection, and spinal cord stimulation.
