National Spine & Pain Centers (NSPC) recently hosted a lecture for physical therapists. Dr. Rodney Dade and Dr. Robert Wagner from our Fairfax and Tysons Corner, VA offices spoke about the Role of Regenerative Medicine in the Treatment of Acute and Chronic Pain. The program was conducted at NSPC’s Virginia Corporate office at Fairfax on Saturday, August 11, 2018 and was sponsored by PT Solutions, a new physical therapy practice in Virginia.
The lecture focused on:
- The role of regenerative medicine in the treatment of acute and chronic pain
- The decision-making process toward utilizing regenerative medicine
- The therapy protocol and the rationale for the protocol
Dr. Dade and Dr. Wagner covered topics like the history of regenerative medicine and different types of regenerative therapies. They also shared examples of case studies with interventional and regenerative therapies. The program was promoted to physical therapists around the Washington DC Metro area. Fifteen physical therapists attended the program attend from several different practices including PT Solutions, Select Medical (Physiotherapy Associates), Phoenix Rehab, MedStar Health, and Results Physical Therapy.
