Dr. Sean Li Leads Lectures at 2018 ASIPP Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida

Dr. Sean Li from Premier Pain Centers, an affiliate of National Spine & Pain Centers, recently led two lectures at the 2018 American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) 20th Annual Meeting that was held in March at the Marriott Orlando World Center in Florida.

During one session on Best Practices in Neuromodulation, Dr. Li presented on Closed Loop Stimulation: The Return of the Gate. The lecture focused on the evolution of neurostimulation, including “where we have been, where we are, and where we are going.” It was followed by an engaging panel discussion.

In a breakout session on Emerging Concepts in Interventional Pain Management (IPM), Dr. Li presented on Vagus Nerve Stimulation, including the evolution of neurostimulation, current indications for VNS and what the future holds for the treatment.

In addition, Dr. Li was one of the speakers during an industry-sponsored lunch by Nevro on high frequency stimulation and electroCore on vagus nerve stimulation.

About ASIPP

The ASIPP annual meeting is the largest meeting in the country for interventional pain physicians and other providers. The meeting offers an extensive practice management session with multiple and intensive coding and compliance lectures for physicians and staff members. The faculty includes experts in the field of interventional pain management, drug therapy, practice management and current affairs. Dr. Sean Li specializes in interventional pain management. His clinical interest is in neuromodulation therapy such as spinal cord stimulation, high frequency stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation. He has published numerous professional articles and written text book chapters on the topic of pain and is actively involved in clinical research that will help advance the field of interventional pain medicine.
