Sudhir Diwan, M.D. is practicing out of Manhattan Spine & Pain Medicine’s, an affiliate to National Spine & Pain Centers, Manhattan East 57th Street, NY office. Dr. Diwan is well-known for treating the most complex and challenging cases of chronic pain.
Dr. Diwan earned his medical degree from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, India and specialty degree in Surgery from Sheth K.M. School of Postgraduate Medicine and Research, India. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University, NY and Fellowship at New York Presbyterian, Hospital of Cornell University, NY. Before joining Manhattan Spine & Pain Medicine, Dr. Diwan was the director of the Tri-Institutional Pain Fellowship Program and Division of Pain Medicine at Ivy League Weill Medical College of Cornell University for 10 years, where he also served as associate professor of clinical anesthesiology.
He is board certified in Pain Management as well as Anesthesiology. His clinical expertise encompasses a variety of diagnostic specialties and treatments, including: Epidural Nerve Block, Radiofrequency Neurotomy, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Mild Procedure.
