Recently, National Spine & Pain Centers’ Dr. Ben Newton delivered a lecture on regenerative medicine and orthopedic conditions at The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. Osher at JHU is a membership community created in 1986 as the Evergreen Society with a mission to enhance the leisure time of semi-retired and retired individuals. It provides a vibrant educational and social environment of mature adults. The lecture was attended by around 20 individuals.

As a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, Dr. Newton’s professional passion includes regenerative medicine and interventional orthopedics. He has extensive experience evaluating and treating non-operative orthopedic, sport injury, and musculoskeletal complaints of the spine and extremities. Dr. Newton utilizes regenerative therapies to help patients of all ages get back to an active lifestyle. He is board-certified in sports as well as family medicine. He also holds additional training certificates in musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy. This training is essential to the precision required for Stem Cell, Platelet, and Prolotherapy procedures.
