Luis M. Dr. Fandos earned his medical degree from Medical School of the University of Rosario, Rosario, Argentina. He performed his Residency in Anesthesia and Critical Care at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami, FL. He then completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt of Columbia University, NY.
He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Fandos is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Pain Medicine, International Association for the Study of Pain, North American Neuromodulation Society and the World Pain Institute.
His clinical expertise encompasses a variety of diagnostic specialties and treatments, including: Epidural Nerve Block, Facet Joint Injections, SI Joint Injection, Medial Branch Blocks, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP Therapy), Radiofrequency Neurotomy, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Vertebroplasty / Kyphoplasty.
