Q: What drew you to the field of physical medicine and pain management?
A: I was first drawn to the pain management field because I want to improve patients’ quality of life and their daily living activities.
Q: Are there any specific treatments, technologies or diagnostic specialties that you are particularly excited about or have special expertise with?
A: The future of pain management has many impressive treatments and technologies on the horizon. I am particularly excited by developments in spinal cord stimulation and minimally invasive lumbar and sacroiliac joint fusion.
Q: What gets you excited about working at NSPC?
A: Everyone at NSPC is very friendly and are eager to help our patients get better.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: When patients get better through their individualized treatment plans, I get inspired and motivated to work harder and to help others.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time (hobbies, interests, etc.)
A: I enjoy playing video games and watching sporting events including soccer and professional basketball.
Q: What would you do for a living if you weren’t a doctor?
A: I think I would have been a teacher, as I would like to help educate our next generation.
Q: What is your philosophy about doctor-patient interaction and patient-centered care?
A: I work with my patients to maximize our options in order to treat their pain. I will exhaust all available options before starting pain medications so that I can provide my patients with the safest treatment available.
