Dr. Peter Staats, National Spine & Pain Centers’ Chief Medical Officer, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Annual North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) conference held January 17–20, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Staats is an Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist and a well-respected and admired member of the Pain Medicine community. He is the Chief Medical Officer for electroCore, a member of the Pain Medicine News editorial advisory board, and chair of the World Institute of Pain Board of Examination. He has served as the past president of ASIPP (American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians) and NANS (North American Neuromodulation Society).
