John Mak, M.D. is a Pain Management Specialist in New Jersey and is practicing out of Premier Pain Centers’, an affiliate to National Spine & Pain Centers, Toms River and Freehold, New Jersey offices. He employs a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management by utilizing a full complement of tools including physical therapy, medications, ultra-sounded guided injections and advanced interventional procedures to treat pain.
Dr. Mak earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, Buffalo, NY and performed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. He then completed his residency in anesthesia and critical care at Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center-Harvard Medical School in Boston before completing a fellowship in pain management at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
