National Spine & Pain Centers is excited to announce the availability of K- Laser® treatment at select NSPC offices.
K-Laser® is a non-invasive FDA-approved medical device which can be used to treat a variety of painful disorders. K-Laser® emits multiple laser frequencies on the red and near-infrared spectrum in a process called photobiostimulation. This process can stimulate the healing process by increasing circulation and enhancing tissue repair. The result is decreased inflammation, pain and muscle spasms as well as improved flexibility and function.
Patients may feel improvement (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment. In some cases, improvement may not be felt immediately, however, this does not mean that healing is not occurring. Each treatment is cumulative, and results are often felt after three or four sessions. Most patients require multiple, brief treatment sessions over a few weeks to address chronic conditions or frequent treatments over the course of one week for acute conditions.
K-Laser® does not require any needles and can be used alone or as an alternative or complementary option to other concurrent treatments. Your NSPC provider will determine the best way to incorporate K-Laser® into your treatment plan.
Please ask your National Spine and Pain Center pain specialist about this new treatment during your appointment.
