National Spine & Pain Centers’ Chief Medical Officer Dr. Peter Staats received the Lifetime Achievement Award during the PAIN 2018 – Innovations and Treatment for Spine and Nerve Pain conference at the Fountainebleau Miami Beach, Miami Beach, Florida. Dr. Staats was recognized for his contribution to the Society of Interventional Pain Physicians over the years

Pain 2018 conference was presented by Timothy Deer, MD and the West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. The event united approximately 300 clinicians, scientists, and industry partners from across the United States, Europe & Caribbean including; physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, and pharmacists. The goal was to present cutting edge date and information to practitioners of all levels and provide a forum to interact and discuss evidence based medicine to improve the quality of care and access to care for patients. Participants also got an opportunities to network with colleagues from across the United States, and attended educational sessions to expand their knowledge on current available treatment options to patients and practitioners.
