National Spine & Pain Centers’ Dr. Cherrick Speaks at Academy of Pain Medicine Conference

National Spine and Pain Centers is happy to announce that Dr. Abraham Cherrick recently presented at an educational symposium at the American Academy of Pain Medicine Conference.
At the event, Dr. Cherrick presented supporting data for genetic tests that are designed to objectively guide clinical decisions in screening for opioid contraindications, improve medication efficacy, and avoid adverse drug events.
While sharing a compelling case study, he described the exciting horizons for innovative treatments in pain management:
“We are on the frontier of a technology that will allow us to truly optimize and individualize pharmacotherapy for our pain patients.”
Over his successful career, Dr. Cherrick has demonstrated clinical expertise in multiple areas including the evaluation and treatment of cervical and lumbar disc diseases such as disc herniation and spinal stenosis. He also has a special interest in diagnosis of challenging chronic pain conditions such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Fibromyalgia.
