Dr. Lester Zuckerman, of the Rockville, MD office, believes in a comprehensive approach to pain management and spine pain care. Dr. Zuckerman joined National Spine & Pain Centers in 1998. Currently a member of NSPC’s Board of Directors, he also serves as the practice’s Chief Medical Officer. Prior to his current position, he taught at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also held posts as the Director for The Center for Pain Management at Englewood Hospital (New Jersey) and the Director of Pain Management Services for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital (Philadelphia, PA). A seasoned pain management specialist with 20 years of experience, his contribution the specialty of Pain Management and approach to patient care have regularly merited peer recognition in the region as one Washingtonian Magazine’s “Top Doctors.”
Honest, caring, and technically skilled, he instills confidence and trust in his patients and professional associates. An advocate for continuing education, Dr. Zuckerman dedicates considerable time to exploring advances in pain management techniques and emerging therapies. He has been published in top-tier professional journals and has lectured to peers and the public on the diagnosis and treatment of pain syndromes.
