Dr. Budampati earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland, MD and completed her residency from Sinai Hospital, University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. She maintains active memberships in the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the International Spine Intervention Society, the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

During her fellowship training at Virginia Commonwealth University and Hunter-Holmes McGuire VAMC, she advanced her skills in Interventional Pain Management and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Her expertise includes Epidural Nerve Block, Facet Joint Injections, SI Joint Injection, Radiofrequency Neurotomy, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Discography and Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty.

During her leisure time, Dr. Budampati enjoys singing Southern Indian Classical music and can also be found riding the scenic parkways in Virginia on her motorcycle, a hobby she shares with her husband.
