Cyrus E. Bakhit, M.D. is practicing out of National Spine & Pain Centers’ Roanoke, Virginia office. As an interventional pain management physician, Dr. Bakhit specializes in chronic pain issues including back and joint pain, as well as complex regional pain syndrome.
Dr. Bakhit earned his medical degree from the Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. He performed his residency in Anesthesiology (1994) and Internal Medicine (1992) at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C. While completing his residency in anesthesiology, he also served as clinical instructor at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C.
His clinical expertise encompasses a variety of diagnostic specialties and treatments, including Epidural Nerve Block, Joint Injections, Facet Joint Injections, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty.
