Costa G. Soteropoulos, M.D. is practicing out of National Spine & Pain Centers’ Fredericksburg, Virginia office. A staunch advocate for his patients, Dr. Soteropolous uses state-of-the-art neuromodulatory and non-surgical techniques to diagnose and treat a wide array of both chronic and acute pain conditions.
Dr. Soteropoulos earned his medical degree from the George Washington University Medical School, Washington, DC. He completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pain and Spine Management at the Virginia Commonwealth University, where he also received advanced training in spinal cord stimulation from one of the field’s foremost experts. Prior to his Fellowship, Dr. Soteropoulos completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital, during which time he served as Sports Medicine Education Chair of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.
He is board certified in Pain Management as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical expertise encompasses a variety of diagnostic specialties and treatments, including: Epidural Nerve Block, SI Joint Injections, Facet Joint Injections, Medial Branch Blocks, Radiofrequency Neurotomy, Discography, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Prolotherapy.
