For the fifth year in a row, Dr. Robert Wagner has been delivering an engaging Regenerative Medicine lecture at the annual INOVA Sports Medicine Symposium. His presentation revolves around an array of sophisticated diagnostic and treatment options, including regenerative medicine, for musculoskeletal injuries. This year, he presented on “My Patellar Tendon and Achilles are Angry: Can I avoid surgery?”
His recent lecture at the Annual Sports Medicine Symposium at INOVA Center for Personalized Health focused on the following:
- Discuss the process of tendon degradation and dysfunction
- Discuss the role of PRP and other alternative treatments for chronic tendonitis/tendinosis
- Discuss the future role of regenerative therapy
Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Robert Wagner is a leading physician from NSPC and StemCell Arts and a highly sought after pain management expert from Fairfax and Tysons, Virginia centers. He specializes in diagnosing and treating injuries of the spine, joints, tendons, nerves and ligaments by utilizing injection techniques. Dr. Wagner also has extensive experience treating acute and chronic injuries with Stem Cell Therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Prolotherapy. He has lectured and mentored clinicians nationally on these innovative techniques and their application for healing chronic pain conditions.
While Dr. Wagner’s lecture at the INOVA event was a true success, we’d also like to highlight the significance of sharing educational information about these innovative techniques and their efficacy for healing chronic pain conditions.
Stem Cell Therapy and PRP treatments are safe, highly effective alternatives to surgery for people who suffer from joint or bone pain due to degenerative conditions, torn or strained tendons or ligaments or other common joint injuries.
