Robert Solarczyk joins the National Spine & Pain Centers’ as a certified physician assistant at their office in Cumberland, Maryland. With over 18 years in treating internal medicine and evaluating various chronic illnesses, he will be a great asset to this team.
Solarczyk has experience teaching, clinical care in primary and urgent care settings, and has proven leadership and administrative skills in both clinical and educational settings. His experiences have led him to cultivate his skills in areas such as tracking and recording data for those with serious infections, monitoring diagnostics, evaluations, and treatments, and providing care to patients of all ages.
Upon completion of his Bachelor of Science in from Saint Francis University, Solarczyk worked as a Physician Assistant for the Prison Health Services, Inc. where he attended to the needs of thousands of incarcerated individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. While working towards his Masters of Science, Solarczyk also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Seton Hill University.
“I feel that there is a need and place for medication in treating patients with pain as part of a well developed treatment plan or regimen in helping the patient to improve on the quality of life,” Solarczyk states, “Every patients should participate in the development of their treatment plan, with the guidance of an educated provider. I believe patients recover and feel better if they are part of the plan and believe in it.”
Having the ability to evolve and learn with the ever-changing nature of pain management and interventional pain medicine, Solarczyk is excited as the field moves forward in developing more effective and efficient treatment options.
