Kelsey Bruce is a board-certified physician assistant at the National Spine & Pain Centers’ Tysons, VA and Fairfax, VA offices where she will work with Dr. Rodney Dade. Bruce will utilize her experience in various clinical settings to provide care to patients seeking pain management and orthopedic care
Throughout her education, clinical rotations, and multiple professional medical settings, Bruce discovered her passion for healthcare. She has worked with clients of all ages in specialty practices, family medicine practices, and emergency care centers. She continues to demonstrate her care and passion for healthcare. “I prefer to build long lasting, communicative relationships with my patients,” Bruce stated.
Bruce began pursuing her career in healthcare at San Diego State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. During her time at San Diego State, Bruce was a member of the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and was the Treasurer of the Physician Assistant Student Association.
Bruce decided to further her career at Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. She graduated with her Masters of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During her time at Salus University, Bruce was a tutor and representative for the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. She participated in ten clinical rotations where she gained valuable experience in patient care, doctor-patient relations, development of treatment plans, and diagnostics. Bruce also worked in specialty care centers, including women’s health, dermatology, and general surgery where she got hands-on experience in post-operative care, surgical techniques, and standard medical procedure
When Bruce is not practicing medicine, she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading various classic novels, and painting
