Julia Ben-Jacob PA-C believes in treating the patient as a whole.
“It is important to listen to the patient and care for each of them as individuals,” she said. “Many individuals that suffer from pain do not know where to turn and, in this setting, we are able to help people manage their pain with minimally invasive procedures in ways they never thought possible. It is great being able to help individuals function at a higher level in their daily activities.”
Julia joined the National Spine and Pain Centers’ Brick, NJ office in November 2018 after previously working as a physician’s assistant at ABK Neurological Associates.
Driven toward the healthcare sector through a desire to help others, she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physician assistant studies from Touro College and graduated cum laude from Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. While at Touro, she received an award for outstanding clinical achievement.
Outside of the office, Julia enjoys spending time with her family and skiing.
