Joyce Lee joined National Spine & Pain Centers in 2013 and works with Dr. Ali El-Mohandes treating patients with acute and chronic pain.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Joyce received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Shepherd College, a Bachelor of Nursing from West Virginia University, and a Masters of Nursing from Marymount University. She has spent her career as a cardiology nurse practitioner until joining National Spine & Pain Centers.
Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as family nurse practitioner, Joyce enjoys the challenge of treating patients with chronic disease and looks forward to establishing trusted and valuable patient relationships. She believes in helping patients to achieve their highest level of functioning and to have realistic expectations of their pain management.
In her spare time she is co-owner of Potomac Bridals Prom and Tuxedo in Hagerstown. She loves football and can be found with her husband, daughters and grandchildren cheering on the Hokies and Dallas Cowboys.
