Chang J. (C.J.) Feng, M.D. sees patients in National Spine & Pain Center’s Henderson office, where he specializes in interventional pain management and uses state-of-the-art technologies such as spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pain pumps to help patients get relief from chronic and acute pain.
Prior to joining National Spine & Pain Centers, Dr. Feng served as the director of Interventional Pain Management and was the interventional pain specialist at the VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. He has also served as a staff anesthesiologist at Albermarle Hospital in Elizabeth City and as the medical director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management Center at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC.
“I continue to be excited about the advances in interventional procedures that allow me to help my patients reach their full potential in their daily lives,” Dr. Feng said. “By collaborating with my patients in the development of their care plans, we are able to treat their pain in ways that are truly targeted to them. When it comes to pain management, one size does not fit all.”
Dr. Feng earned his medical degree from Wuhan Medical College in Wuhan, China. He completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain management at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. He also performed an additional residency in surgery at the Berkshire Medical Center/University of Massachusetts Medical School in Pittsfield, MA.
In his free time, Dr. Feng enjoys photography, cooking and basketball.
