Dr. Patel joined National Spine & Pain Centers’ network of practices in 2010. He attended MGR Medical University, an affiliate of Harvard Medical International in India. Following medical school, he returned to Detroit where he completed a residency in Anesthesiology serving as chief resident in his final year before pursuing fellowship and training in Interventional Pain Management at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Patel earned his M.B.A. in Healthcare Management and International Finance at the George Washington University School of Business.

He serves as Chief Medical Officer of Advanced Infusion Solutions Healthcare and as a consultant to numerous medical device and pharmaceutical companies and academically as a student mentor for the George Washington University’s Graduate Schools of Business and Medicine.     I see Dr. Patel most of the time. He is a excellent Dr. All the staff I deal with is always helpful and pleasant. I recommend a co worker to Dr. Patel and see really likes it there also.

    I was pleased with the plan to start me on physical therapy first to give me a chance to improve on my own with an option I could continue daily before moving on to more extreme measures. I felt that the Spine center was very thorough and open minded and ready to try different options to give me a chance to recuperate. I was pleased with the therapy and the followup at different stages over several months. I was glad to be able to talk with the nurse in charge of my care and eventually with Dr. Patel. I was also pleased that Dr. Patel would be in touch with my spine surgeon, Dr. [...] and keep him informed of my situation. They are an excellent Spine and Pain Center and I will continue to follow their recommendations for improvement.
