Back Pain and Spinal Pain
It is estimated that back pain and spinal pain could affect 80 percent of the population at some point in their lives. The spine is a vital structure that supports the body while providing enough flexibility for movement. Back pain is often linked to an injury or spinal degeneration, a process of wear and tear of the joints, discs, ligaments, and bones in the spine.
A diagnosis of back pain requires an evaluation from an affiliated pain specialist and a complete neurologic examination by an affiliated board-certified physician with National Spine & Pain Centers. Once the source of back and spinal pain is diagnosed, a doctor will identify a non-surgical procedure to alleviate discomfort.
